Allu Arjun has been named as A11 in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, which tragically took the life of a woman named Revathi.
While the Nampally court rejected his bail plea the Telangana High Court granted him conditional bail asking him to seek regular bail from the Nampally court.
The bail hearing has been postponed to Monday and Allu Arjun’s lawyers have requested permission for a virtual hearing.
The Nampally court has asked the Chikkadpally police to submit a counter before the next hearing. If approved, Allu Arjun will attend the hearing online.
The case gained significant attention after Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed it in the state Assembly. Meanwhile, the Pushpa 2 team donated Rs. 2 crores to Revathi’s family.
Her son, Sree Tej, who was injured in the stampede, is recovering in the hospital. Allu Aravind has visited him twice and is personally overseeing his treatment.
